Now you can have your very own personal trainer via the web with all the benefits of having your personal trainer present. This means that you will receive a personalised routine designed for you and you alone. As with a consultation with a personal trainer, you will fill out a health screening form and tell us what your goals are. Based on this information you will receive a personalised routine explaining how to perform each exercise and what intensity to work at. It will also be explained to you how many sets and repetitions to perform. Each programme will come with a written and visual description of how to execute each exercise correctly and safely.

Fitness Test

In order to track your progress you need to know what your goals are. But you also need to find out where you are at at present. A basic assessment at the start of the programme will serve as a baseline for comparison.

But how can I have an assessment if I am not going to meet my trainer in person? Simple. I will explain to you how to perform a fitness test and record the results for future comparison.

Example: my goals are to lose weight, tone up and increase my energy levels. The first part of the fitness test is to take your weight (guidelines for this are to take your weight at the same time of day, wearing same clothes). Then measure your waistline. Score your energy out of 10. Note times of day when energy falls etc. Record all of this data-it will be laid out for you in question format on the fitness test form. Whatever your goals and needs are we will provide you with easy to follow guidelines to perform a test on yourself including how to check your aerobic fitness, strength and endurance, flexibility and, if you have a body fat callipers, your body fat percentage.

Diet Consultation (Online)

A diet consultation can be performed via our web site just as effectively as if you were sitting in face to face with a qualified dietician. We will start this process by getting you to fill out the diet questionnaire. This is a detailed questionnaire which will inform us of medical conditions, medical history, allergies, energy levels etc. and what your current diet is like. Based on this information we will get back to you with a personalised diet designed for you. It is very important to note that we do not recommend 'crash' diets or severely calorie restricted diets. Those type of diets make it harder to stay in good shape and are unnecessary and unhealthy. The diet will be designed with health, energy levels, shape and well-being in mind as well as your own specific goals.
